Please read before you download On this page you will find all the 9 paper flower templates I have shared so far. But there are a few things I need to point out in case you get lost on how to use them.
The templates were designed to fit an A4 sheet of paper (210mm x 297mm/ 8.27″x 11.69″) But you can also print them on US Letter size which is slightly different (215.9mm x 279.4mm/ 8.5″x 11″) by fitting to size or download the appropriate size as in indicated in the download links provided under each picture of the petal designs. The templates used in my YouTube videos were printed on a smaller sheet, a 1/4 of A4 called A6. Alternatively download the appropriate seize as indicated in the download link provided under each picture of the petal design you want. Not all the templates have tutorials yet. Start out with a square piece of paper. You can use square origami paper or follow these from any rectangular piece of paper. Try not to use thick or heavy paper as it may be difficult to fold and cut. Fold the square diagonally in the middle to come up with a triangle. Fold the resulting triangle along the middle to come up with a smaller triangle. Invert the triangle so that the solid corner (the corner corresponding to the paper's center) is at the bottom. Divide the triangle into 3 equal sections, each with a 30 degree angle.
The most accurate way to do this is to use a protractor. If you don't have a protractor, you can estimate the size of the sections as you do Steps 5 and 6.
Once you've marked out the three equal sections, fold the left section towards the front. Similarly fold the right section towards the front. Flip the entire shape over so that the side with the horizontal edge is facing front. Cut along the horizontal edge so that you come up with a wedge. Draw half-a-petal starting from one of the wedge's top corner to about ½-inch from the bottom of the opposite side.
Cut along the line. Unfold the paper to reveal a 6-petal flower.
